Key Responsibilities:

  • In order to find financing possibilities from Support Offices, government donors, multilateral agencies, and other donors, collaborate with the director of resource development, the Senior Management Team, and the Technical Program Leads.
  • To help in deciding whether to pursue additional grants and other external funding possibilities, a draft description of funding opportunities is provided.
  • Assist the Support Office (SO), the government, the corporate sector, and international funders by organizing the creation of concept papers and preparing proposals (including logical frameworks, draft budgets, budget narratives, and monitoring and evaluation plans).
  • Updating the grant tracking tool with information on current funding opportunities, submitted proposals, proposal approvals, and subsequent actions is important.
  • Make that the policies and procedures of the business development partnership are followed.

Qualifications

  • a minimum of a Master’s degree from an accredited university in a related discipline.
  • a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related discipline, such as development studies, agriculture, health, or nutrition.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in integrated development, relief, and/or donor-funded project programming, including design, implementation, evaluation, and monitoring.
  • Lead with a focus on results and possess the capacity to handle a demanding workload while managing and meeting the needs of many stakeholders, donors, and the organization.
  • the capacity to guide the team spiritually.
  • the capacity for creative and strategic thought, always seeking out new and improved methods of operation.
