Both the Internship Program and the Enhanced Internship Programme (EIP) provide six months of educational opportunities for recent graduates or students focusing in fields related to IFAD’s purpose.
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Upon entering IFAD through the program, be enrolled in a university or graduate school, have attended classes within the past year, and have finished at least two years of undergraduate study;
- Having recently finished their undergraduate or graduate studies at a university;
- possess competence in English; mastery of the other official languages of IFAD is advantageous. Fluency in the primary language of the country may be necessary for interns hired at IFAD country offices;
- be no older than thirty years old. In particular, the EIP is intended to improve the regional dispersion of IFAD staff members and is available to applicants who do not already reside in Rome and who satisfy the aforementioned qualifying requirements.
