We are looking for passionate, committed, and meticulous Content Managers to become part of our vibrant team. The perfect candidates will manage user-generated content, ensuring that discussions stay respectful, relevant, and in line with JamiiForums’ community guidelines. This role is essential in building trust, creating a positive atmosphere, and engaging our community members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, evaluate, and moderate all user-generated content to ensure it follows JamiiForums’ community guidelines and internal policies.
  • Interact actively with users to promote meaningful discussions and provide support.
  • Identify and address inappropriate content, including spam, offensive language, and misinformation, and manage user reports effectively.
  • Encourage respectful dialogue and meaningful discussions, stepping in to provide support when necessary.
  • Work with other team members and the community management team to enforce established rules.
  • Analyze user behavior and community trends to enhance content moderation strategies and user experience.
  • Help create and curate content that drives engagement and community growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a moderator, community manager on online or social media platforms, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of online community dynamics and digital communication.
  • Ability to remain impartial and unbiased during discussions.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and moderation tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive and challenging situations with tact and professionalism.
  • Passion for online communities and a commitment to fostering a positive user experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to measure moderation effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of current events, popular culture, and topics relevant to JamiiForums’ user base.
  • Multilingual abilities, particularly in Swahili and English.
