Job Title: Sales Assistant

Location: Dar es salaam, Tanzania

Ongeza Agrovet is seeking dynamic and motivated individuals to join their team as Sales Assistants. The successful candidates will be responsible for promoting and selling agricultural inputs to farmers, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Marketing: Actively promote and sell Ongeza Agrovet’s products to farmers and agro-dealers. Implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical advice and support to farmers on the proper use of agricultural inputs. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s products and their applications. Educate farmers on the benefits of using Ongeza Agrovet’s products.
  • Market Research: Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to the management team on customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: A diploma or degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural sector, is an added advantage.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge: A good understanding of agricultural products and farming practices in Tanzania.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively within the designated sales territory.
