Role Overview
As a Graduate Trainee in IT, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing the company’s IT systems. Your primary responsibilities will include providing essential first-level IT support, managing IT assets, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. This role is perfect for individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to tackle a variety of IT challenges.
Key Responsibilities
1st Level IT Support: Deliver prompt and efficient IT support to employees, both onsite and remotely, ensuring minimal downtime and swift resolution of issues.
IT Inventory Management: Monitor, procure, and manage IT assets to maintain an up-to-date inventory, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and functioning. Onboarding/Offboarding: Oversee the IT aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, including setting up and deactivating user accounts and configuring IT systems.
User Management: Handle user management within various IT systems and tools, ensuring proper access and security protocols are followed. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive IT documentation, including manuals, guidelines, and troubleshooting procedures.
Internal Training: Conduct internal training sessions on IT-related topics to enhance the technical proficiency of staff members. IT Configurations/Implementations: Assist in the configuration and implementation of new IT systems and tools, contributing to the continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication abilities, enabling clear and effective interaction with team members and employees.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with modern office productivity tools and a keen interest in staying updated with the latest technology trends.
Experience: Prior experience with IT systems is advantageous but not mandatory. Self-Motivation: A strong career drive, particularly in a tech startup environment, coupled with a positive and problem-solving attitude.
