Senior Auditor Vacancy at NMB Bank
As a Senior Auditor, you will be an integral part of NMB Bank’s Internal Audit team, responsible for evaluating the bank’s operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your expertise will help identify risks, assess control frameworks, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting comprehensive audits of various departments and processes within the bank. Identifying and assessing areas of risk and developing audit plans accordingly. Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Preparing detailed audit reports and presenting findings to senior management. Collaborating with departments to implement audit recommendations and monitor progress.
Staying updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
