Job Title: Internal Auditor Manager
Education: University Degree or Advanced Diploma majoring in Accounting or Finance Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a relevant field Professional Qualification: Certified Public Accountant, CPA (T)
Key Responsibilities:
The Internal Auditor Manager will be responsible for overseeing various auditing processes within the bank, ensuring that all financial operations comply with regulations and internal policies. The main duties include:
Leading Periodic Internal Audits: Conduct regular audits on the bank’s financial matters, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Implementation Follow-up: Monitor and report on the progress of recommendations and directives from the Board of Directors. Performance Appraisal: Evaluate the quality of performance across different departments.
Audit Planning: Prepare comprehensive annual audit plans that align with the bank’s operational needs. Review Audit Programs: Assess the adequacy of existing audit programs and suggest improvements where necessary.
Policy Compliance: Ensure the bank adheres to established policies, plans, and procedures. Internal Controls & Risk Management: Evaluate and strengthen the bank’s internal control systems and risk management strategies. Audit Procedures and Working Papers: Coordinate the review of audit procedures and maintain accurate working papers.
Internal and External Audit Queries: Respond to and follow up on queries raised during internal and external audits. Staff Supervision: Provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to the audit team. Additional Duties: Undertake any other duties as assigned by supervisors to contribute to the bank’s overall operations.
