Key Responsibilities:
The Human Resource Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the workshop by handling various HR functions, including:
- Overseeing and managing employee relations and interactions within the workshop.
- Handling the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff members.
- Monitoring staff attendance, performance, and overall welfare.
- Ensuring the workshop complies with Tanzanian labor laws and safety regulations.
- Implementing employee development programs and conducting performance appraisals.
- Managing payroll processes, leave schedules, and any necessary disciplinary actions.
- Fostering a positive, productive, and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Be 30 years or older.
- Hold a Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resource Management, preferably within a workshop or industrial setting.
- Possess strong knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be capable of managing multiple HR functions efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
