Successful candidates will contribute to delivering essential health services across hospitals, regional referral hospitals, and healthcare centers.
This 12-month initiative focuses on improving healthcare delivery in line with national and international standards, offering a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference. Available Positions
1. Nurses (ART Nurses) – 28 Positions
Responsibilities: Educate patients and families on HIV prevention, testing, and treatment adherence. Provide counseling and high-quality care in adherence to Ministry of Health guidelines.
Maintain accurate healthcare records and support data-driven decision-making. Collect and manage HIV testing samples while ensuring adherence to the 95-95-95 strategy. Promote medication adherence through patient follow-ups and monitoring.
Requirements:
- O-Level education with a certificate, diploma, or degree in nursing.
- Minimum of one year of experience in ART settings.
- Valid practice license and computer proficiency.
- Strong communication skills in Kiswahili and English.
2. HIV Testers – 37 Positions
Responsibilities: Provide HIV testing, counseling, and education on prevention methods. Refer HIV-positive individuals for treatment and monitor progress. Ensure proper usage of testing kits and maintain confidentiality. Participate in community outreach and awareness campaigns.
Requirements:
- O-Level education with healthcare training.
- A valid practice license.
- Basic computer literacy and effective communication skills.
3. Laboratory Scientist – 2 Positions
Responsibilities: Perform HIV viral load testing and submit weekly laboratory reports. Manage laboratory equipment, maintain quality results, and implement testing protocols. Approve laboratory methods and results.
Requirements:
- O-Level education with qualifications in laboratory science.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
- Training in laboratory quality management is advantageous.
4. Laboratory Technologist – 6 Positions
Responsibilities: Collect samples, conduct tests, and maintain equipment records. Verify test results and manage sample preservation.
Requirements:
- Diploma in laboratory technology with at least one year of experience.
- Knowledge of laboratory quality management is preferred.
5. Pharmacist – 1 Position
Responsibilities: Oversee drug procurement, storage, and distribution. Maintain electronic records for drug inventory and manage pharmacy operations.
Requirements:
- Pharmacy qualification with a valid practice license.
- Experience in pharmacy database management is an added advantage.
