We’re searching for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team. The ideal applicant will have at least two years of Accounts Payable experience and the ability to operate independently with little supervision. If you are a self-starter with a good attitude and a drive to learn, we want you to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Keep track of accounts payable documents and balance your finances.
- Check that the accounts payable transactions are accurate, and create customized reports as necessary.
- Keep track of payment deadlines and amounts; inquire about inconsistencies with vendors.
- Pay bills, drafts, and other credits as they come in.
- Determine open bills and pay them as soon as possible.
- As needed, send out credit memos.
- Keep track of vendor details, such as credit limits, invoice dates, and account status.
- Handle updates to vendor information.
- Keep records and vendor profiles up to date.
- Handle the onboarding and termination of vendors, including updating account maintenance data.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business finance or a similar discipline.
- ACCA/CPA certified.
- two years of accounting-related experience.
- outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- self-starter who is assured and has a positive outlook.
- the capacity to multitask and reliably fulfill deadlines.
- shown proficiency in Excel.
