1. Foreign Captain – 10 Posts

Matangazo ya Kazi Ajira Portal

ATCL is looking to hire 10 Foreign Captains with impressive qualifications and experience.

Minimum Entry Qualifications:

  • Must have flown 3,500+ flying hours with an Airline Transport Pilot License, Multi-Engine, and Instrument Rating.
  • At least 1,000 hours as a Pilot in Command and experience with equipment over 20 tons.
  • Must be rated on B787, B737MAX, Q400, or Q300 aircraft types.
  • Must have a valid license and be current with at least 500 hours on type as PIC.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure aircraft safety and the well-being of occupants and cargo throughout the flight. Maintain discipline, uniformity, and punctuality among Co-pilots and Cabin Crew.

Ensure commercial flight safety isn’t compromised for additional revenue load. Verify that all flight documentation, including Flight Plans, NOTAMs, and weather reports, are reviewed and briefed.

Oversee the proper loading of the aircraft, report incidents, and sign off on diplomatic mail or precious cargo.

Contract Terms: One-year contract with attractive remuneration and benefits aligned with the ATCL Salary Structure and Incentive Scheme.

2. Captain – 30 Posts

ATCL is also hiring 30 Captains with a strong flight background.

Minimum Entry Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3,500 flying hours with an Airline Transport Pilot License and Instrument Rating.
  • 1,000 hours as a Pilot in Command on equipment weighing 20 tons or more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the safety of aircraft, crew, and passengers during flights.
  • Adhere to strict guidelines on aircraft loading and operational procedures.
  • Oversee flight plans, aircraft documentation, and report any flight delays or issues.

Contract Terms: Ten-year contract for Tanzanian nationals with competitive salaries and benefits.

3. First Officer – 4 Posts

ATCL is recruiting 4 First Officers for its expanding fleet.

Minimum Entry Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 250 flying hours with a Commercial Pilot License, Multi-Engine, and Instrument Rating.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Pilot-in-Command with flight operations, including navigation and communication.

File the ATS Flight Plan and verify the accuracy of stored flight plans.

Monitor geographical positions and ensure safe terrain clearance.

4. Public Relations Officer II – 1 Post

Minimum Entry Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, or an equivalent field from a recognized institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle media coverage, draft press releases, and manage digital content for ATCL’s platforms.
  • Assist in organizing press conferences, exhibitions, and corporate events.
  • Support crisis communication and daily public relations activities.

Contract Terms: Ten-year contract with benefits in line with the ATCL Salary Structure.
