LEGENDGLOBE ATTORNEYS hereby announces two postings in its chambers namely;
- Associate
- Associate Trainee
General Attributes
The ideal applicants should be graduates of a reputable university, with an upper second degree, not less than 3.0 GPA. They should be highly conversant with written and spoken English. Knowledge of Chinese language will be an added advantage. The applicants should have attained a B grade in English in their O levels. They should be team workers, innovative, result oriented hard working with a penchant for quality delivery of assignments. They should have sound theoretical and practical knowledge of commercial laws, particularly the banking aspect, various regulatory and compliance issues, litigation management and with good knowledge of the company law, insolvency matters/corporate recovery and immigration issues. The ideal candidates should be trainable with sufficient writing and drafting skills
Experience
(a) Associate
Should be having three years post admission experience, presumably working with a reputable firm of advocates or individually specializing or dealing with the areas specified above.
(b) Associate Trainee
Should be having one year post admission experience working with a reputable firm of advocates or individually. Newly admitted advocates may also be considered for this post.
Duties and responsibilities
Essentially the firm deals with commercial litigation management, regulatory and compliance matters, legal advisory services, transactional documentation and other corporate matters. So, successful applicants shall be assigned to work in the respective areas of practice.
4. Compensation Package
Compensation package shall be negotiable but very attractive. Selected candidates shall be eligible for a kick off allowance at the commencement of their respective contracts.
