HakiElimu, a leading Tanzanian organization dedicated to promoting citizen engagement and quality education, is currently seeking qualified consultants to conduct a mid-term review of its Strategic Plan for 2022-2026. This review will play a crucial role in assessing the progress made thus far and identifying areas for improvement, ensuring that HakiElimu remains on track to achieve its strategic objectives.
The mid-term review is designed to evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency, and relevance of the initiatives outlined in HakiElimu’s Strategic Plan 2022-2026. The selected consultant(s) will be expected to provide insights and recommendations that will help in refining the implementation strategies for the remaining period of the plan.
Scope of Work
The consultant(s) will be responsible for:
- Conducting a comprehensive analysis of the achievements and challenges faced during the first half of the Strategic Plan’s implementation.
- Evaluating the alignment of activities with the overall strategic goals.
- Identifying gaps and proposing necessary adjustments to enhance the effectiveness of the remaining implementation period.
- Engaging with various stakeholders, including staff, partners, and beneficiaries, to gather diverse perspectives on the progress of the Strategic Plan.
Required Expertise
Ideal candidates should have:
- Proven experience in conducting strategic evaluations, particularly in the NGO sector.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- A deep understanding of the education sector in Tanzania.
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
