Key Responsibilities
As the Camp Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing all camp operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage.
- Managing and mentoring camp staff to ensure high levels of service and guest satisfaction.
- Ensuring the camp operates within its budget and maintains Asilia’s high standards of sustainability.
- Handling guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and care.
- Coordinating with the head office to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar managerial position within the hospitality industry, preferably in a safari camp or lodge.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A deep understanding of sustainable tourism practices.
- A passion for wildlife and conservation.
