We are looking for Eleven (11) Cashiers to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently.
The duties of a cashier include taking payments, providing receipts, packaging gifts, and monitoring all card and cash transactions. You should have prior customer service experience and a solid understanding of cash register operation in order to succeed in this capacity. Additionally, you should occasionally be available to work weekends and nighttime shifts.
In the end, you’ll make sure everything goes as planned and assist us in maximizing client happiness.
Responsibilities
- Use cash registers to handle consumer transactions.
- Examine products to make sure the price is correct.
- Gather money, either in cash or on credit.
- Provide tickets, refunds, receipts, and change.
- Use coupons and stamps to redeem
- Introduce new items and engage in cross-selling
- Address client concerns, offer advice, and deliver pertinent data
- As consumers enter or exit the business, greet them.
- Keep the checkout areas neat and orderly.
- Keep an eye on balance sheet transactions and identify any inconsistencies.
- Packages in a bag, box, or gift wrap
- Manage product exchanges and returns
