1.Zonal Business Manage

Reporting Line: Zonal Business Manager

The role is responsible for delivering professional, accurate, and timely support to branches to foster business growth, focusing on new customer onboarding and expanding digital platforms. This includes ensuring productivity standards are met or exceeded by fully supporting branch sales activities. Additionally, the role involves conducting market analysis within the zone, evaluating product lines, and assessing the profitability of each branch.

It also entails developing and monitoring data quality metrics, ensuring timely fulfillment of business data and reporting needs, and providing insights into zone performance with recommendations for improvement. The ultimate goal is to support both zone and branch sales activities, along with financial analysis and performance monitoring, while also spearheading new initiatives in budget and financial planning.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Review branch performance data against zone sales targets and the annual budget.
  • Present data reviews to zone managers and leaders, highlighting performance and suggesting improvements.
  • Assist branches in achieving their targets for digital channels (Internet Banking, SIM Banking, credit and debit cards) accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the Value Chain unit to enhance zone business through the Value Chain Model.
  • Identify internal process and market challenges affecting wallet share growth and recommend improvements for continuous enhancement, cost management, and client satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Zone Manager.

Qualifications Required

  • Degree in a business-related field or equivalent.
  • Additional coursework in business analytics and data management is advantageous.
  • At least 3 years of experience in business performance analytics.
  • At least 2 years of experience in branch operations.
  • Capable of building positive working relationships and being a team player.
  • Innovative with strong planning and organizational skills.

2. IT SUPPORT OFFICER

Department: ICT Department
Location: Tanzania Head Office
Number of Openings: 2

The IT Support Officer is responsible for maintaining and supporting Core Banking System applications. This includes providing immediate assistance to users and third parties to ensure system availability, which is essential for banking operations. The role also involves supporting user acceptance testing, deploying system changes, and conducting system health checks to ensure optimal performance.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Administer Core Banking systems such as FBE, Teller Portal, Hunting Portal, and SMS Service.
  • Monitor integrations and provide first-level support for all Digital Channels and peripheral systems to internal customers.
  • Participate in and support projects and initiatives involving or integrating with Core Banking Systems.
  • Collaborate with internal and external technical and service teams to create or update knowledge base articles.
  • Monitor and report daily, weekly, and monthly on service availability, capacity, and performance metrics, including trend analysis.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager/Supervisor.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least one year of experience in an IT environment is preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Good business awareness and problem-solving abilities.
  • Courtesy and customer-focused attitude.
  • Team player with a high level of integrity.
