D-tree is a digital health organization dedicated to improving access to essential healthcare in sub-Saharan Africa by enhancing decision-making at all stages of a person’s health journey. Since our founding in 2004, our experts in public health and digital technology have been developing solutions that make health systems more personalized, accessible, and coordinated. We work with governments and like-minded organizations to enhance the performance of health systems, ensuring that individuals receive the appropriate care at the right time and place. Currently, our efforts are focused on Malawi, Tanzania, Zanzibar, and Zambia. Our vision is a world where everyone has access to the healthcare needed for a longer, healthier life.
In Tanzania, we are partnering with the government on a digitally-enabled primary healthcare program that connects public and private health service providers. This initiative has attracted considerable interest due to its potential to strengthen digital health systems in the country. Additionally, we support Early Childhood Development (ECD) by designing digital tools for integrated community-based health and ECD programs. We aim to expand our role as a key digital health partner, working with the national government to enhance primary healthcare services, thereby deepening our impact.
