The Knowledge Management & Communications Intern at FSDT will work closely with the Knowledge Management and Communications teams to ensure that information is effectively captured, organized, and disseminated within the organization and to external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation and Management: Assist in developing and curating content for FSDT’s digital platforms, including website articles, newsletters, social media posts, and other communication materials.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Support the documentation of FSDT’s projects, research, and other initiatives. Ensure that valuable insights and lessons learned are captured and shared with relevant stakeholders.
  • Communications Support: Help coordinate communication activities such as workshops, webinars, and other events. The intern will also assist in drafting reports, press releases, and other public communications.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work on strategies to enhance engagement with stakeholders, including donors, government agencies, and the private sector, through effective communication and knowledge dissemination.

Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • A degree in Communications, Knowledge Management, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used in content management and social media.
  • A keen interest in financial sector development and inclusive finance.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
