Responsibilities for inventory assistant
- Assist any of the current GBG businesses with the preparation and submission of insurance claims by working with a GBG insurance broker or agent.
- serve as a go-between for the insurance broker and the company
- Check shipping records to ensure that orders are sent on schedule.
- keeps track of orders placed online
- Make sure part sales are profitable wherever feasible.
- Place special online orders as needed, follow up
- Dispose of all debris
- Answer customer questions & parts inquiries by email or phone
- Ship orders using specified shipping applications
- Deliver parts to local independent repair facilities when required
Qualifications for inventory assistant
- Education (Bsc i n procurement and supply chain management or any related field
- Excellent time management, organizing, and prioritizing abilities
- A keen eye for detail and exceptional problem-solving abilities
- strong drive to acquire knowledge and enhance procedures
- Proficiency with Business Objects, LE Mainframe, and Planning and Forecasting
- strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel, with a minimum understanding of pivot tables, vlookups, and basic formula use
