Position Overview: We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Solar Power System Intern, who will play a key role in learning and contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of solar power systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing a solar power system requires knowledge of the fundamental concepts that guide good design techniques as well as proficiency with third-party tools.
  • Solar power system engineering: Help in the assessment of novel ideas and methods for solar power systems. Work together with the fabrication workshop and search the market for fresh vendors and goods.
  • Installing solar power systems: Get expertise in tracking installation procedures and refining current techniques. Review reporting procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Troubleshooting solar power systems: Get acquainted with field-based methods, troubleshooting techniques, and typical failure reasons. To keep the team informed, use protocols for remote monitoring.
  • Evaluation of solar power systems: Use a methodical follow-up strategy to gauge customer satisfaction and system performance over time.

Qualifications: 

  • Enrolled in or just finished a Bachelor’s or Diploma program in Electrical engineering or a similar profession.
  • A desire to learn about and participate in the design and upkeep of solar power systems.
  • Having experience with design tools is beneficial.
  • A keen interest in cutting-edge methods and substitute technology.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Flexibility in changing work settings with an emphasis on software tools.

Note: The primary goal of this internship is to learn about and have practical experience with solar power systems. This job is unpaid at this time. The intern will get only 200,000 Tsh as a monthly stipend. Please complete this application and send it in to be considered for the position.
