Who is eligible for an internship?
At least twenty years old, enrolled in a university course with a formal qualification in public health, medical, social, management, administrative, communications, or external relations, or a degree in a related field, may apply for an internship. Applicants who have already completed a qualification may apply within six months. Three years of full-time studies at a university or equivalent institution are required.
Fluency in one of the office’s working languages, not related to a WHO staff member, holding a valid passport of a WHO Member State, and not previously participating in WHO’s Internship Programme are required.
