Vilima Vitatu Phosphate Plant is a branch of the ITRACOM FERTILIZERS LTD factory located in Nala, Dodoma town. This branch is engaged in the mining and processing of phosphate in the MDORI area, Vilima Vitatu village, Babati District, Manyara Region. Vilima Vitatu Phosphate Plant wishes to announce 70 job vacancies for young Tanzanian people of all genders. Qualified candidates will be assigned jobs at the factory located in Mdori-Vilima Vitatu in various positions.

Required Positions

  1. Assistants for various unskilled tasks in production (36 positions)
  2. Cleaners for offices, warehouses, factory, and all outdoor areas (6 positions)
  3. Security guards for factory assets and the entire factory environment (17 positions)
  4. Drivers of small vehicles (4 positions)
  5. Drivers of large vehicles (5 positions)
  6. Operators of digging and loading machines (2 positions)
Qualifications
  • For the positions of assistants for various unskilled tasks in production, the applicant should be a young person of sound mind, strong, and able to read.
  • For office, warehouse, factory, and outdoor cleaners, applicants should be young, mentally sound, clean in body and clothing, literate, and aged between 18 to 45 years.
  • For security guards of factory property and its surroundings, applicants should be mentally sound, trained by Mugambo or JKT, or be a retired member of any Tanzanian military branch, and aged between 20 to 60 years.
  • For light vehicle drivers, applicants should be mentally sound, hold a “C” class driving license and a certificate from a driving school, have at least two years of driving experience, be literate, and aged between 21 to 60 years.
  • For heavy vehicle drivers, applicants should be mentally sound, hold a “D” class driving license and a certificate from a driving school, have at least three years of driving experience, be literate, and aged between 18 to 60 years.
  • For machine operators (excavation and loading), applicants should be mentally sound, hold an “F” class driving license and a certificate from a driving school, have at least three years of experience operating the machine, be literate, and aged between 21 to 60 years.

NB: All applicants for the above-mentioned positions must be citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania and possess NIDA identification cards or NIDA numbers, as well as a birth certificate. and an introductory letter from local leaders from where they come from.

An applicant who is a resident of one of the villages in Nkaiti Ward in Babati District will have a greater chance of being selected than applicants from other areas outside Nkaiti Ward.

Each applicant will obtain the application form from the Vilima Vitatu village office, and after filling it out and signing it, they will deliver it to the Human Resources and Administration Director’s office at the Vilima Vitatu Phosphate Plant.
