The Director of Kibaha Town Council has received a new employment permit from the Secretary General OR – Service with reference No. FA. 97/288/01/09 dated 25.06.2024. Therefore, he wishes to announce to all qualified Tanzanians to send applications for the following positions:
1. OFFICE MANAGEMENT SECRETARY II
Positions Available: 04
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Typing letters, reports, and confidential documents.
- Receiving visitors, addressing their issues, and directing them appropriately.
- Maintaining records of events, appointments, visitors, and meeting schedules.
- Searching for and distributing required files and documents.
- Collecting, storing, and retrieving files and documents.
- Preparing notes and arrangements for various meetings.
- Compiling office supplies requirements.
Applicant Qualifications:
- Form Four or Form Six graduates with a Diploma in Secretarial Studies or NTA Level 6 Certificate.
- Proficiency in Kiswahili and English shorthand (100 words per minute).
- Proficiency in office computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email, Publisher).

2. RECORDS MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT II
Positions Available: 05
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Registering incoming and outgoing letters.
- Distributing files to action officers and managing returned files.
- Organizing and maintaining records, documents, and files.
- Categorizing records/documents for office use.
- Arranging files in cabinets for storage.
- Handling requests for records/documents from Government Institutions.
Applicant Qualifications:
- Form Four (IV) or Form Six (VI) graduates with a Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Registry.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
Salary Scale: TGS C
3. MTAA EXECUTIVE
Positions Available: 20
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing local government operations.
- Ensuring security and safety, maintaining peace, and overseeing governance.
- Coordinating and supervising development plans.
- Serving as Secretary of local council meetings and committees.
- Interpreting and enforcing policies, laws, and regulations.
- Reporting on work implementation and mobilizing community strategies.
Applicant Qualifications:
- Form Four (IV) or Form Six (VI) graduates with a Certificate or NTA level 5 in relevant fields.
- Background in Administration, Law, Social Education, Financial Management, Community Development, or Arts Science.
Salary Scale: TGS B
4. DRIVER GRADE II
Positions Available: 07
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspecting vehicle safety before and after trips.
- Transporting employees and delivering documents.
- Performing minor vehicle repairs and cleaning.
- Maintaining trip records in logbooks.
Applicant Qualifications:
- Form Four (IV) graduates with a valid Class E or C driver’s license.
- Minimum one-year driving experience without accidents.
- Basic driving course certificate from VETA, NIT, or a recognized institution.
Salary Scale: TGS B
