Position: MI & Impairment Manager
The MI & Impairment Manager will play a pivotal role in the bank’s financial management team. The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the management information (MI) systems and ensure accurate impairment reporting. This includes analyzing financial data, forecasting impairments, and providing insightful reports to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust MI systems to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends and potential risks.
- Forecast impairments and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Provide expert insights and recommendations to support strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, MI systems, and impairment reporting.
