PASADA (Pastoral Activities and Services for people with AIDS Dar es Salaam Archdiocese) is pleased to announce several exciting job vacancies for motivated and qualified individuals. We are a prominent non-governmental organization dedicated to providing comprehensive care and support to individuals affected by HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life and foster self-reliance among vulnerable populations through compassionate and professional services.
1.Data Clerks (44 Positions)
Role Description: The Data Clerks will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records. Their duties will include data entry, verification, and ensuring the integrity of data systems.
Qualifications: Applicants should possess a minimum of a diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proficiency in data management software and strong organizational skills are essential.
2.Assistant Youth Interventions Officer (5 Positions)
Role Description: The Assistant Youth Interventions Officers will assist in planning and implementing youth-focused programs. They will work closely with young people to promote health education, life skills, and HIV/AIDS prevention.
Qualifications: Candidates should have a degree in Social Work, Sociology, Public Health, or a related field. Experience working with youth and strong communication skills are required.
3.Procurement Officer
Role Description: The Procurement Officer will oversee the procurement processes, ensuring that all goods and services are acquired in a cost-effective and timely manner. Responsibilities include supplier management, contract negotiation, and compliance with procurement policies.
Qualifications: A degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or a related field is required. Candidates should have at least three years of experience in procurement, preferably in an NGO setting.
4.Project Accountant
Role Description: The Project Accountant will be responsible for managing project budgets, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. They will support the financial aspects of project implementation.
Qualifications: Applicants should have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent). A minimum of three years of accounting experience in a project-based environment is necessary.
