WFP Tanzania’s five-year Country Strategic Plan (CSP, 2022-2027) aims to support the Government of Tanzania in improving nutrition, health, and education services for vulnerable populations, with a focus on women and children.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement nutrition, HIV, and school feeding programs
- Provide technical and strategic advice on program design
- Coordinate with national, regional, and local governments
- Support capacity building of WFP staff and partners
- Generate data and evidence to inform policy and programming
- Contribute to resource mobilization and partnership building
Qualifications:
- Advanced University degree in Public Health Nutrition, Nutrition, Public Health, or related fields
- Fluency in English and Swahili
- Minimum of three years of experience in nutrition, HIV, school feeding, or public health-related activities
- Experience in managing and developing nutrition-related programs and policies
- Strong analytical, innovative, and creative thinking skills
- Proficiency in MS Office

- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Versatile and flexible team player
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
