WFP Tanzania’s five-year Country Strategic Plan (CSP, 2022-2027) aims to support the Government of Tanzania in improving nutrition, health, and education services for vulnerable populations, with a focus on women and children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement nutrition, HIV, and school feeding programs
  • Provide technical and strategic advice on program design
  • Coordinate with national, regional, and local governments
  • Support capacity building of WFP staff and partners
  • Generate data and evidence to inform policy and programming
  • Contribute to resource mobilization and partnership building

Qualifications:

  • Advanced University degree in Public Health Nutrition, Nutrition, Public Health, or related fields
  • Fluency in English and Swahili
  • Minimum of three years of experience in nutrition, HIV, school feeding, or public health-related activities
  • Experience in managing and developing nutrition-related programs and policies
  • Strong analytical, innovative, and creative thinking skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Versatile and flexible team player
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
