Are you passionate about digitizing the Farmer segment and driving agricultural innovation? Vodafone is seeking a dynamic Project Manager Agriculture VBU at Vodacom August 2024 to strategically plan, develop, and implement digital Farmer solutions. This role is pivotal in securing funding from various stakeholders and ensuring the continued success of digitizing the Farmer segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Management: Oversee Connected Farmer solution strategy, CAPEX/OPEX requirements, and quarterly service improvements as per GSMA AgriTech standards.
- Product Development: Lead new product development projects and continuous improvement of digital Farmer services.
- Partnership Recruitment: Recruit and onboard new partners and farmer modules, ensuring technical support.
- Funding & Growth: Identify and secure funding to sustain and grow digital platforms in the agriculture sector.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned with technology and product developments.
- Data Security & Quality: Maintain security, access, and quality of information infrastructure, reports, and records.
Who You Are
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional setup with strong stakeholder management.
Analytical & Business Acumen: Proficiency in analytical skills, business acumen, and project management. Technical Expertise: Digital skills and experience in product development.
Resilience: Ability to work under pressure and handle strategic planning and reporting.
Qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology, Telecoms Engineering, or Business.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic planning, project management, sales, or product development.
- Experience in Agriculture is a plus.
