The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) has announced 78 new vacancies for August 2024 on behalf of several prestigious institutions, including the Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute (MOI), the Ocean Road Cancer Institute (ORCI), the Government Chemist Laboratory Authority (GCLA), Watumishi Housing Investments (WHI), and the Tanzania Automotive Technology Centre (TATC). General Conditions for Applicants
PSRS has laid out a set of general conditions that all applicants must meet:
Citizenship: Only Tanzanian citizens are eligible to apply. The age limit is 45 years, except for those already employed in the Public Service. Inclusivity: Persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply and must clearly indicate this in the recruitment portal.
Curriculum Vitae (CV): Applicants must submit an up-to-date CV that includes reliable contact information such as a postal address, email, and phone number. - Postgraduate, Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma, and Certificate qualifications.
- Transcripts corresponding to the above qualifications.
- Form IV and Form VI National Examination Certificates.
- Professional Registration and Training Certificates (where applicable).
- Birth certificate.

Prohibited Attachments: Form IV and Form VI results slips, testimonials, and partial transcripts are not accepted. Photograph Requirement: Applicants must upload a recent passport-size photo in the recruitment portal.
Public Service Employees: Those currently employed in the Public Service must route their applications through their respective employers. Retired Employees: Individuals who have retired from the Public Service for any reason are not eligible to apply.
Referees: Applicants must provide the names and contacts of three reputable referees. Verification of Foreign Certificates: Certificates from foreign examination bodies or universities must be verified by the National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA), the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU), or the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE), as applicable.
