Benjamin William Mkapa Foundation (BMF) has been granted an award by Henry Jackson Medical Research International, Inc. Tanzania (HJFMRI Tanzania) through its U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) to support management of non-clinical Human Resource for Health Component under Southern Highland Zone Civilian Project (SHL) implemented in four regions of Rukwa, Katavi, Songwe and Mbeya. Through this award BMF is seeking to hire 1 Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. Therefore, this job advert seeks for an innovative, self-driven, dynamic, and competent qualified candidates to fill the following vacancy: –

Responsibilities

  • Offer technical assistance for the planning and execution of all M&E initiatives.
  • Provide R/CHMTs and healthcare institutions with technical assistance and capacity building in the areas of data collection, verification, aggregation, and reporting.
  • Budgets and work plans for M&E should be implemented and monitored at the district and regional levels, respectively.
  • Increase R/CHMTs’ ability to offer lower-level facilities technical help and supportive supervision for M&E.
  • Working together with RACC, we will handle the region’s HIV and AIDS data processing and report production, as well as facilitate the flow of reports for the national and WRP monitoring systems. Supervision of data entry, data management, including data quality assurance and analysis, distribution, and reporting, will all fall under this category.

Qualifications

  • a degree in any relevant discipline, such as biostatistics, project planning and management, health informatics, mathematics and statistics, or health systems management.
  • two(2) years or more of expertise managing data in HIV/AIDS program environments.
  • multitasking abilities, problem-solving and analytical capabilities, and organizing abilities.
  • the capacity to converse in Kiswahili and English with ease.
  • the capacity to function both alone and as a team under little direction.
  • Capacity to uphold confidentiality in every situation strong organizational and attention to detail abilities, as well as the capacity to multitask and set priorities
