1. Humanitarian Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the MEAL strategy and implementation for humanitarian programs. Ensure high-quality monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning practices. Provide technical support and build capacity for MEAL activities among staff and partners.

Analyze data and generate reports to inform program improvement and decision-making. Foster a culture of learning and accountability within the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field. At least five years of experience in MEAL roles within humanitarian or development contexts.

Strong analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills. Proficiency in data collection and analysis software (e.g., SPSS, STATA). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

2. Child Protection Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Implement child protection programs in line with Save the Children’s policies and international standards. Conduct assessments and identify the needs of vulnerable children. Provide case management and psychosocial support to children and families.

Engage with communities to raise awareness on child rights and protection issues. Collaborate with local authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders to enhance child protection systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in child protection work.
  • Strong understanding of child rights and protection principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in challenging environments.
  • Fluency in English and Swahili.

3. Digital Education Project Officer – Specific Contract (6 Months)

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation of digital education projects to enhance learning outcomes for children. Develop and distribute digital educational materials and tools. Train teachers and facilitators on the use of digital education platforms. Monitor and evaluate the progress of digital education initiatives. Engage with stakeholders to promote digital literacy and education innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing digital education projects.
  • Strong technical skills in digital tools and e-learning platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Passion for leveraging technology to improve education.
