  6. Monitoring and Evaluation: Overseeing the monitoring and evaluation of HIV/AIDS programs to ensure effective implementation and measurable impact is a critical responsibility.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for the Executive Director role at TACAIDS, candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Public Health, HIV and AIDS, or a related field from a recognized institution. A medical background is an added advantage. Applicants should also have a minimum of ten years of work experience in HIV/AIDS-related public health positions, including at least five years in managerial roles.

Additional qualities include strong leadership skills, integrity, resilience, excellent communication abilities in both English and Kiswahili, and the ability to work with diverse groups and challenging situations.
