Key Responsibilities
Management and Development of Drivers and the Transport Team: Overseeing the recruitment, training, and performance management of drivers and transport staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet operational demands. Scheduling and Planning: Efficiently managing the transport schedule to ensure optimal vehicle utilization and on-time delivery, while minimizing downtime and costs.
Communication Processes: Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with internal teams and external customers to ensure smooth coordination of operations. Vendor Relationship Management: Maintaining strong partnerships with vendors and external transport service providers to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
KPI Preparation and Fleet Reports: Preparing and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational efficiency, along with fleet performance and driver debrief reports. Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for operational improvements and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications
To qualify for the position, candidates must possess the following:
- A University Degree in a relevant field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Expertise in Transport Management and Fleet Management.
- Solid Risk Management Knowledge.
- 3-5 years of experience in transport coordination or a related role.
