Direct Entry For form six candidates, the minimum criteria are three credits at the “O” Level and two primary passes totaling 4.0 points in relevant A-Level subjects (the College of Health Sciences programs require 4.5 and 5 points).

Recognition of Prior Learning A “B” grade is the minimum needed for candidates who meet the RPL qualification requirements.

Equivalent qualifications Applicants pursuing diplomas must have a minimum of four O-level passes (Ds and above), an NVA level III with less than four O-level passes, or comparable foreign credentials as assessed by NECTA or VETA.

  • a 3.0 GPA is required for the Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6); alternatively
  • a minimum 3.0 point average for the Full Technician Certificate (FTC), with A=5, B=4, C=3, and D=2 points; or
  • an average grade of “B” on a teacher education diploma; or
  • awards in the realm of health, such those in clinical medicine and other areas where a “B” is mediocre; or
  • Regarding diplomas and certificates that are classified according to distinctions, credit, or pass, or
  • Lower Second Class certificates that are classified as non-NTA;
