Job Location: Country Office, Dar Es Salaam
Responsibilities
● Arrive at destinations on schedule.
● Fulfill program needs, like providing direct services to establish day care.
● Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays.
● Always interact with clients professionally.
● Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
● Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
● Keep mileage records and repair records up to date.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
- Any protection concerns with the team and report them to the line manager or through the organization’s reporting mechanism.
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals of safeguarding.
- Act as a critical source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure if any reportable incident occurs and encourage others to do so.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Driving certificate from recognized institute
- Certificate from NIT will be an added advantage.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Great professional driving skills
- Understanding of motor vehicle functionality
- Fluent in English and Swahili Language
- Fuel management skills
- Exceptional knowledge of traffic laws and regulation
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance
