As a Customer Care Intern, you will also support marketing operations by performing tasks such as updating computer databases, writing customer rating reports, conducting market research studies, and collaborating with other departments on deliverables.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing external communications with customers, including inbound and outbound calls and SMS, and addressing their inquiries and complaints
- Conducting telesales through outbound and inbound calls to generate leads and clients
- Building and maintaining client and lead databases
- Following up with leads generated through customer care logs and converting them into clients
- Handling and resolving customer queries and complaints regarding product sales and customer service issues
- Providing customers with information about the organization’s services and products
- Processing forms, orders, and applications requested by customers
- Identifying and escalating priority issues to higher management
- Gathering and evaluating relevant data to handle complaints and inquiries
- Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
- Managing administrative tasks and coordinating with internal departments
- Compiling data, preparing reports, and performing weekly collections
- Performing other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Proven experience as a customer service or telesales officer
- Good understanding of office management, sales, and marketing principles
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Ability to respond effectively and calmly in emergencies
- Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
- Well-organized with a customer-focused approach
- Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
- Proficiency in MS Office, marketing software, and online applications (CRM tools)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Diploma; a BSc in Marketing, Business, or a relevant field is an advantage
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience
