PSRS (Utumishi) 11015 Teaching Vacancies

The Secretary of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat, on behalf of the Regional Secretariats and Local Government Authorities, invites job applications from qualified and capable Tanzanians to fill 11,015 positions as outlined in this announcement.

General Conditions

Firstly, all applicants must be Tanzanian citizens under the age of 45, except for those currently employed in government service. Additionally, applicants for the positions of Teacher Grade III B and Teacher Grade III C must ensure they attach an ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPT in the “Ajira Portal” system for the recognition of teaching subjects.

Furthermore, we encourage applicants with disabilities to apply and specify their disability in the job application system to inform the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat. Moreover, all applicants must attach a birth certificate certified by a Lawyer/Advocate. Applicants who are already public servants and have gained qualifications for different cadres must route their job applications through their employers, and the employers must duly certify them.

In addition, applicants must attach a comprehensive (Detailed C.V) resume with reliable contact addresses and phone numbers, along with the names of three reliable referees. Lastly, all applications must be accompanied by academic certificates, descriptions, and certified copies of certificates by a Lawyer/Advocate, including birth certificates, Form Four and Form Six certificates for those who have reached that level, and certificates of various training courses in accordance with the relevant job qualifications.

Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statements of Results, Form IV and Form VI results slips WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).

Job applicants who are already employed in entry positions in the Public Service should not apply. Instead, they must follow the instructions outlined in Circular No. CAC. 45/257/01/D/140 dated November 30, 2010. Moreover, submission of false information and qualifications will result in legal action. Finally, the deadline for submitting job applications is August 2, 2024.
