Mwenge Catholic University (MWECAU) is a secular, private, and non-profit institution of higher learning owned and managed by the Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC). 2. Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer (Accounting) – 2 Posts
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, seminars, and practicals for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Supervise field practical of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Mentor junior staff in all relevant matters.
- Participate in curriculum development.
- Develop and manage various university projects.
- Carry out research and publish research results.
- Conduct community/outreach services, including promoting linkages with industry.
- Provide consultancy services.
- Prepare teaching manuals and compendia.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student projects.
- Attend/organise workshops, conferences, and symposia.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the relevant authorities.
Qualification and Experience:
Holder of a PhD/Master’s in Accounting with at least a GPA of 4.0 out of 5 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a Minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 5 or a related relevant field from any recognized institution of higher learning.

2.2 Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Economics) – 1 Post
Duties and Responsibilities: (Same as for Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer (Accounting))
Qualification and Experience:
Holder of a PhD in Economics, Master in Economics with at least a GPA of 4.0 out of 5, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a Minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 5 or a related relevant field from any recognized institution of higher learning.

Holder of a Master’s in Kiswahili – Isimu, with at least a GPA of 4.0 out of 5 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Kiswahili with a Minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 5 or a related relevant field from any recognized institution of higher learning.
