AGIC Energy Global Technologies is looking to fill the following roles with competent candidates:

Position Title: Receptionist
Line manager:       Administrative Officer
Duty station:         Dar es salaam – Tanzania

You will make sure that every piece of equipment AGIC Energy Global Technologies receives from China is in proper operating order in your capacity as a technical support and logistics assistant. It will be your responsibility to evaluate the items and notify the warehouse manager of any defective or damaged goods that need to be sent back to the manufacturer.

Key roles and responsibilities:

This role will provide support to the AGIC ENERGY – Tanzania Operations under the supervision of the Administrative Officer.

  • Initial Point of Contact for Customers
  • Handle every letter.
  • Make travel and flight arrangements for guests from outside Tanzania as well as employees leaving the nation, and make sure employees are properly insured before they go.
  • Make hotel reservations in Tanzania for guests arriving from outside the country, as well as lodging arrangements for employees departing on assignment to other locations.
  • Update internal directories with the names and phone numbers of the personnel and Outlook Calendar with the meeting reservations and location.
  • Pay bills on time and get ready for the payment processing.
  • Make sure that every employee logs their arrival and leave timings (while in the office).

Other duties                                             

Help the Administrative Officer with all office procurement. Make sure the office materials and equipment are ready for usage. Handle requests for the maintenance of phones, copier, scanner, fax, internet, and office supplies. Use of stock cards: Each month, there should be a reconciliation. Replace office supplies and stationery as soon as possible.

Making reservations for lodging in Tanzania for employees who are traveling on official business, both domestically and internationally. helping foreign guests with travel-related matters, such as visas, booking flights, and lodging, keeping the Tanzanian office’s filling system current and organized (mail sorting) keeping meeting and appointment calendars up to date.

Requirements

  • two (2) years minimum of experience at the same level.
  • Effective communication abilities
  • adeptness with Microsoft Office
  • Capacity to draft reports and reply to formal letters.

 Qualification

  • two years of employment
  • Certificate of School Grade 12
  • a business administration diploma or its equivalent.
